摘要：
We are witnessing a renaissance in mass timber and tall building construction in North America. New engineered wood materials, innovative construction systems and practices, urbanization and growing consumer concern regarding green alternatives have generated new opportunities and momentum for wood- based solutions in multi-residential, commercial and institutional buildings. This presentation will consider recent trends and future opportunities as well as the important roles played by the research community, architects, engineers, regulatory bodies, and government promotional initiatives.
