摘要：
The Museum of Music houses a rich collection of non-occidental wooden lutes which was examined by the author for wood identification since 2014. The work was done under the direction of Philippe Bruguière (Curator) who prepares the catalog of these objects. The study concerns a corpus of 37 non-occidental lutes covering a big area, with objects from Africa, Central and East Europe and Asia. I will present here the results of their wood identification and material analysis, comparing them with the knowledge we have about the traditional use of certain species for manufacturing them.
