摘要：The Eli Whitney Museum in New Haven, Connecticut USA collects essential experiments and teaches them to children. This presentation shares the work and mission of the Eli Whitney Museum through the eyes of Sylvie Rosenthal, who started taking classes there at age five, apprenticing at age 12, and teaching at age 16. Over 20 years later she returns there almost every summer to teach a woodworking class to 60 children ages 8-12 years old. Children learn important lessons, working with their hands, taking risks, experimenting, and making.
