摘要：Within the framework of my contribution, an introduction to teaching and research at the Insitute of Timber Engineering and Wood Technology at Graz University of Technology will be given. The four research fields of the institute will be pointed out before the CLT activities will be presented. At the beginning of this part of the presentation some essential facts concerning CLT productions (quantities and locations worldwide) will be discussed. Afterwards selected projects are presented, on which the institute has worked together with the holz.bau forschungs gmbh in the last years. Some contents of the CLT standardization work will be discussed on selected topics. In the next version of Eurocode 5 it is planned that all relevant verification procedures for CLT will be implemented. Furthermore, an extraordinary application example for the use of CLT will be presented. The conclusion is a short summary and an outlook on further CLT activities.
