报告摘要：
　　白族传统家具是中国传统家具的一部分，集民族性与地域性于一体，特色鲜明，文化底蕴深厚。从白族传统家具的形成过程、类别及特征、艺术特色方面分析了白族传统家具文化，同时对形成白族传统家具精华的民族木雕文化进行了概述，简要介绍了新时期白族传统家具文化的传承情况。

Bai traditional furniture is a part of Chinese traditional furniture, uniting national and regional features, having distinctive characteristics and heavy cultural foundation. From the formation process, classification and characteristics of Bai traditional furniture, analyzed the traditional furniture culture of Bai nationality, and at the same time, sketched the national wood carving culture which formed the essence of Bai nationality traditional furniture. Finally, the inheritance of the traditional culture of Bai nationality in the new period is introduced briefly.

嘉宾简介：
　　袁哲，博士，1975年9月出生于河南省。长期从事家具设计、家具材料与工艺、少数民族家具风格方面的教学与科研工作。1997年毕业于西北林学院室内及家具设计专业本科，同年进入西南林学院工作，2002年西南林业大学木材科学与工程专业硕士毕业，2006年南京林业大学家具设计与工程专业博士毕业。现任西南林业大学艺术学院副院长，副教授、硕士生导师。2009年赴美国普渡大学留学访问1年。曾发表关于少数民族家具、藤家具等的多篇文章。

Dr. Yuan Zhe, born in Henan Province in 1975, has long been engaged in teaching and research work of the design, material and processing, nationality style of furniture. She got bachelor degree of Northwest Forestry College in 1997, got Southwest Forestry College master degree in 2002, and got Ph.D. degree of Nanjing Forestry University in 2006. And now she works as associated dean and associated professor in Art College of Southwest Forestry University. She had gone to America as a visiting scholar in Purdue University for one year in 2009. Her articles as well as thesis about nationality furniture and rattan furniture have been published.
