摘要：
　　家具，尤其木家具，发展到今天，人人都用，家家都有，处处可见。既普通又平凡。在过去的几十年，我们目睹了中国明清家具国际地位的逐渐提高，它已成为继书画、陶瓷之后的第三大收藏品。就其装饰题材而言，家具充分反应了中国传统文化思想和审美情趣，是中国传统精神文明与物质文明相结合得最丰富的物质载体。

个人简介：　　
　　谭必明，广西合浦人，广西建林博物馆常务副馆长，广西红木文化研究会副会长。自幼酷爱木家具，喜欢木工。谭父一生喜爱做木工，现已八十多岁，仍然玩弄。父母两家族都是祖传几代木工。谭读了七年大学，在大学任职十年，做了六年房地产。自认为，就明白人生的道理来说，还不如，做木工，玩家具，打太极，感悟更多。

Mr.TANBiming, born in Hepu County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is the Deputy Director of Guangxi Jianlin Museum, Vice-President of Guangxi Hongmu Culture Society. His parents are the ancestral generations of carpentry. Influenced by his father, Mr. Tan has been fond of wood furniture and carpentry since a child. After graduate from university, Mr. Tan served in university for ten years and then engaged in real estate for six years
