On the base of 3 Traditional Culture Pillars of Vietnam, which are nature worshipping, god & saint worshipping, and ancestor worshipping, this presentation is to focus on making clear the imprints of these traditional cultural characteristics on the wood works during the time from 16th to 19th centuries, and at the same time to introduce lively various aspects of Vietnamese social living.

Speaker Biography

Mr. HUYNH VAN HANH 
MBA., Engr. Vice Chairman of HAWA, Vietnam

Master – Engr. HUYNH VAN HANH is a vice president of Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCM city (HAWA), General Director of Alliance Handicraft & Wooden Fine art Corporation. He ever studied and worked on wood & handicraft industries for 36 years. He has spent lots of time to research on Culture of Vietnamese people on wood works. He’s ever presented twice the topics relating to Vietnamese culture on wood works in Guang Xi and Beijing. Today he is invited to present about: “Folklore cultural imprints on Vietnamese wooden products”.
