摘要：
　　杉木的资源丰富、材性优良，是中国南方传统民间家具常用的材种之一。传统杉木家具以锯材和较规整的间伐材、枝桠材为主要基材；品种类型繁多，尤以柜类、台桌类、架类和小件家具为主；造型单纯，多以直线型为主，少见曲木构件；装饰简洁，多见局部雕刻装饰，题材以抽象的植物花卉纹样为主，常见桐油涂饰。产品经久耐用。木材产地的郁木工艺及其产品颇具特色。现代木材科学技术赋予现代杉木家具新的生命力。杉木集成材、杉木基复合材料、杉木改性材等新型杉木材料的出现，以及杉木复合技术、杉木表面增强处理技术、弯曲技术、3D切削技术等加工技术的应用，极大地提高了杉木家具的结构强度性能和时尚审美表现力，家具品种更加齐全，品质更加优良。广泛的资源地域蕴含着杉木家具丰富的文化内涵，速生资源的属性决定了杉木家具具有可持续开发的潜力，新技术的运用预示着杉木家具具有极大的附加值空间，杉木家具将持久地焕发光芒。

Abstract:  Cunninghamia Lanceolata is an abundant resource  and also has a fine material performance character. It’s one of the commonly used materials of traditional folk furniture in south China. Traditional Cunninghamia Lanceolata furniture use the converted timber, ordered thinning wood and the brushwood as its mainly based material. It has various kinds of furniture and the cabinets, tables, shelves and small-sized furniture are its main types. All the furniture has simple shapes, and widely used the linear elements. There is almost no curved wooden component. What’s more, its decoration also very concise. For this part, more local carved decoration often appears on the furniture. The abstract floral patterns are its main subject and covered its surface with tung oil is its common finishing method. Its products could last longtime. The wood origin place has remarkable  bending wood  technology  and correspondingproducts. Modern wood science and technology make the current Cunninghamia Lanceolata furniture has new vitality. The appearance of Cunninghamia Lanceolata integrated material, composite material based on this kind of wood and its modified material as well as appliance of the composite technology, the surface strength and bending technology and the 3D cutting technology, and all of them greatly improved the structure strength and aesthetic performance power of Cunninghamia Lanceolata furniture. It makes the furniture has more species andhigher qualities. Wide resource places contain abundant Cunninghamia Lanceolata furniture culture. Its fast growing character determines it has the sustainable development potential. The appliance of new technologies indicates that Cunninghamia Lanceolata furniture has great value-added space and it will keep shining last long.

个人简介：
　　刘文金，中南林业科技大学家具与艺术设计学院院长、教授、博士生导师。高级室内建筑师。中国工业设计协会资深会员。中国建筑学会室内设计分会（CIID）暨国际室内设计师学会（IFI）会员，中国建筑学会室内设计分会专家委员会委员。中国家具与室内装饰研究会副会长。中国家具协会设计专业委员会副主任委员。湖南省工业设计协会副会长。

　　长期从事工业设计教育、家具设计理论研究和设计实践工作。曾主持国家艺术基金项目“中国传统家具艺术史料数据库”、国家博士点基金项目“家具产品LCA研究”、国家公益计划项目“梓木家具产品设计设计技术研究”、省工业设计计划重点项目“木制品设计技术的研究”等12项国家级、省部级课题。获发明专利2项，公开出版《当代家具设计理论研究》、《家具造型设计》、《室内设计基础》等专著5本，公开发表研究论文100余篇。设计作品多次获国际产品博览会金奖。

Mr. Liu Wenjin, Senior interior architect, Professor and Tutor of Doctor in furniture designing field. Working in Central South University of Forestry and Technology as dean of college of furniture and art design, senior member of Industrial Design Association of China, member of China Institute of Interior Design(CIID), member of International Federation of Interior Designers(IFI), committee member of Experts Committee Commission of CIID, vice-director commissioner of Design Specialized Committee of Chinese Furniture Association, executive manager of Teaching and Instructing Committee of Packaging and Design.

Engaging for a long time in industrial design education, the study of furniture design theory and practical work, in charge of 6 programs of national and provincial level including national art funding project - "The Data Base of Chinese Traditional Furniture Art"; the national doctorial funding project - "The LCA Study of Furniture Products"; the provincial key project of industrial design plan - "The Study of Design Technology of Wooden Products" etc. Published five books of "The Study of Furniture Design Theory"," Furniture design ","The Foundation of Interior Design", etc. and 80 research papers. Lots of works awarded and adopted by the enterprises and
authorities.
