摘要：中国古代从物质生活到精神生活都离不开木材，而杉木防腐、防虫、密闭性强等优越的性能使其早在晋代就成为人们的生活用材之一，但因经济发展水平及交通运输等条件的限制，杉木的使用比较有限。宋以后，随着经济的发展，杉木开始得到广泛使用，与人们的日常生活关系密切。从物质层面看，杉木运用于建筑、造船、器物等方面，提高了人们的生活质量。另一方面，杉木也与宋至清朝人们的精神生活有一定关联，如以杉木制琴，满足人们对音乐美的追求；以杉木制棺椁，体现了人们对逝去长辈的孝心及丧葬风俗的影响；以杉木制香，既是祭神的需要，也可除异味，留香气。由此，杉木成为宋以后人们使用较为广泛的一种木材。

Abstract: In ancient China, wood was used both in people’s material life and in spiritual life.Especially the superiority of China fir such as corrosion prevention,insect prevention,strong in sealing performance etc, making it become one of the common timber in Jin dynasty. But under the constraints of economic development level and transportation, the use of China fir was limited. After Song dynasty, along with the economic development, China fir began to be widely used, and closely related with people’s daily life. From the material perspective, fir was used in construction, shipbuilding, utensils, etc, to improve the quality of people's life. On the otherhand, China fir also had certain connection with people's spiritual life from Song dynasty evento Qing dynasty, for example, using fir to make musical instruments which could meet people pursuit of beauty of music; by using China fir-made coffin, it would also show the respect to dead people and could reflect Chinese traditional funeral custom. Fir incense, not only for ritual needs, but also could also remove Peculiar smell, leaving aroma. Therefore, after Song dynasty China fir has become one of the most popular timbers which have been widely used by human.

个人简介：
　　罗启龙，河南洛阳人，2011年获管理学学士学位。2011年秋考入湖南科技大学攻读历史学硕士学位，目前在读。在校期间发表《简论宋朝杉木的使用与贩运》一文。

Mr. Luo Qilong is from Luoyang ,Henan Province. He was graduated from an university in Zhengzhou and has got the bachelor of business administration in 2011. In autumn of the same year, he was admitted to Hunan University of Science and Technology for master degree in history. He is in school at present. During this time, he published On the Use and Trafficking of Song Fir.
