摘要：After thirty years development, the China Woodworking industry has reached world biggest capacity, the China market also become the world biggest and has attracted world suppliers. Due to the world economic crises, the market both domestic and international has dropped and the manufactures are struggling for survive. The local timber as the raw material supply has solely changed from nature forest into plantation forests. The legal harvested imported timber is the key issue for the future development. The quality of the China woodworking products is well accepted by the world market, and the recovery from the logs reached highest level. It is even strong topic what is the future of woodworking industry, how the factories can survive and continue meet the market requirement.

Mr. Shengfu Wu has 28 years experience in woodworking industry, currently he working as the Market Dept. Director of China National Forest Products Industry Association and General Manager of Green Panel Consulting. With sound experience on the forest products industry not only in China but also worldwide and worked from government, research institute, education school, professional manager etc., he experienced in the major woodworking companies in different countries，he enjoys the product standards development both national and International and working as convincer in ISO/TC218.  He is also working on the adviser group of FLEGT Asian for the field of legal materials supply from original as well as the sustainable development of forest products industry.
